I was looking for potential web design companies in warrington who I might ask to gain work experience from when I came across one company who's website seemed to really irritate me. There is some kind of 'magic' noise that came up once the page was loaded which I hated and then when I looked through the portfolio I didnt really like what I saw. All of the websites created seemed to be very busy and had a 'one page fits all' feel to it where thay have'nt thought about easing the user into the website but instead have decided to bash them with as much information as possible on the first page. I do however kind of like the navigation bar but I dont really see the point of the way responds to roll over other than to make something on the page move?

Author Bryce Courtenay
Was trying to look for my favourite book trilogy online (The Potato Factory Trilogy by Bryce Courtenay) when I came across his website www.bryecourtenay.com I started thinking about using this website for research for my PRP because I was so impressed with it. Going through the site I was thinking about what sort of website a writer needs as a portfolio site to promote their work.
This video was included on the site which I really enjoyed watching it as I got to learn about this aurthor for first time and I also learnt about his new book.
